Overview

Once you've installed the managed package on AppExchange, you can use the "Cards" and "Card Settings" objects.

Business card information registered in Sansan will be automatically transferred to Cards object. To link this information to Salesforce Account/Contact/Lead, you'll need to do the field mapping setting from the Card Settings object.

These are the recommended initial settings, and associated steps, for the Cards Settings object.

*Note that this page explains Salesforce settings. You'll need to log in as a Salesforce administrator.

 

1. Associate Settings

1. After logging in as an administrator, click on the "Card Settings" tab.

If you cannot see the "Card Settings" tab, please refer to this help page.

2. Select "Link Settings" from the top menu.

 

2. Select the Object

From "Select", please select the object which you want to set as the target.

 

3. Options you can set in Link Settings tab

Options Name Explanation
Card fields The list of business card fields which will be transferred from Sansan to Salesforce.
Display all copying item candidates

If you check the checkbox, all the field exists in the object will show as the candidate of "Copying field selection" row.

*If you uncheck the checkbox, only the recommended field will be shown.

Copying field selection Select the Salesforce field to update the information from "Card fields"
Address consolidation setting If you check the checkbox, the system will add the data to the field above and update it.
Copy when creating (default) Select the field to update when creating new record from the business card.
Copy at update (default) Select the field to update when there was an existing record to update the record from the business card.


4. Recommended Settings for Account/Contact/Lead

*This is one of the recommended settings. Please consider the settings based on how you want to manage.

 

1. Please select "Account" from the "Select" pulldown menu. Bellow is the recommended setting for Account.

5. Saving the Settings

Upon completion, please click the "Save" button on the bottom of the page.
